Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

WE ARE SEEING CLIENTS VIA TELEHEALTH AND IN PERSON

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a goal-oriented psychotherapy treatment. It takes a practical, hands-on approach to problem-solving. The goal of CBT is to change patterns of thinking and/or behavior that are behind people’s difficulties, to change the way they feel. CBT is used to help treat a wide range of issues in a person’s life including relationship problems, anxiety, depression and self-esteem difficulties.

CBT works by changing a person’s behavior by focusing on their thoughts, images, beliefs and

attitudes (cognitive) and how these processes relate to the way a person behaves and handles

emotions (behavior).
